Wesley Mission

At the age of 20, I uprooted my life on the Sunshine Coast to move interstate to Sydney. Wesley Mission was my first job as a designer and it gave me an incredible stepping stone in my career. In two years I learned how to work within a corporate environment, maintain a strong brand, communicate with multiple teams, work with multiple designers, and build great relationships along the way.  One of my favourite projects was a colouring-in book for foster care children who were meeting with carers.
 
When I first started, I didn’t have a senior designer for 6 months which was challenging, but it allowed me to take responsibility and keep on top of my workload. I’m thankful for the time there as I was able to try multiple projects and see where my strengths lay. My love of typesetting and branding was found at Wesley.
